1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing or using COD Confirmation ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

COD Confirmation provides automated WhatsApp messaging services for Shopify stores to confirm Cash on Delivery (COD) orders. The Service includes:

  • Automated order confirmation messages via WhatsApp
  • Quick reply button functionality
  • Automatic order tagging based on customer responses
  • Abandoned checkout recovery messaging

3. Account Requirements

To use the Service, you must:

  • Have an active Shopify store
  • Have a WhatsApp Business account
  • Comply with WhatsApp Business policies and Meta terms of service
  • Provide accurate and complete registration information

4. WhatsApp API Usage

The Service uses the official WhatsApp Business Platform API. WhatsApp API fees are billed directly by Meta. You are responsible for:

  • Complying with WhatsApp Business and Commerce policies
  • Ensuring your message templates are approved by WhatsApp
  • Paying WhatsApp API conversation fees directly to Meta
  • Obtaining necessary customer consent for messaging

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Send unsolicited or spam messages
  • Use the Service for illegal purposes
  • Attempt to circumvent security measures
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations

6. Pricing and Payment

The Service offers a free tier with basic functionality. Additional features may require a paid subscription. WhatsApp API conversation fees are separate and billed directly by Meta.

We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days notice to active subscribers.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE WILL REDUCE FAKE ORDERS OR IMPROVE DELIVERY RATES. RESULTS MAY VARY.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, COD CONFIRMATION SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES.

9. Termination

You may uninstall the Service at any time through your Shopify admin. We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these Terms or WhatsApp policies.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
